Whoa, I really got ripped off then. (but I bought them for the 100 Airmiles, so that's worth something.)

There's a great Groupon offering today for a $15 (print-at-home) Gift Certificate to Vancouver's celebrated Bandidas Taqueria for only $7.
They boast an entirely veg'n menu wherein any item may be rendered fully vegan. Click on the link below to get it - the link expires tonight at midnight!

I am looking for vegan (non-leather) belts, shoes, and wallets. Does anyone have any suggestions of stores in Vancouver?

hey Yosha,

This might not be anything new to you....but it seems like Karmavore is the only place I (or most of us here) are aware of, having such goods. Not exactly in Vancouver...but getting there by skytrain is easy peezy though. Because I've seen all such goods, you named of, all at Karmavore.

It'd sure be great to have a closer location of Karmavore...

Take advantage of this awesome Groupon offer, which expires tonight at midnight! A $30 value for food and drinks at Wild Rice restaurant (in Vancouver) for only $15! The food there is so delicious and they now claim to have over 10 vegetarian dishes. I just took a look at their menu and they definitely have some new stuff from the last time I was there.

Click here to buy the Groupon coupon: http://www.groupon.com/deals/wild-rice- ... otmail.com

Check out the Wild Rice menu here:

p.s. I think we should do a dine-out here again as they have new dishes to try.

Daiya 'cheese' is now available in Vancouver proper...at The Perch at Commercial and Powell... see http://veganmischief.com/daiya-in-canad ... rd-to-get/

Even better, come October, Daiya should be available across Canada in conveniently sized packages... http://pmq.com/news/news.php?id=14339

Fantastic news! I had the most amazing Daiya Macaroni and Cheese this week at the Wallflower restaurant.

I hope the prices for the smaller packages are reasonable. In the States they are about $4.75 each and you don't get that much. I prefer having the huge bag in my freezer to draw from whenever I need it, but it will be great for everyone to have it at their fingertips at many stores around the country.

As I type this, I have just nearly polished off a plate of nachos with melted Daiya. yum!
